On behalf of the EngOpt2026 organising committee, we are pleased to welcome you to Lisbon for the 7th International Conference on Engineering Optimisation, held at Instituto Superior Técnico of Universidade de Lisboa.
The main goal of the EngOpt conference series is to periodically bring together engineers, applied mathematicians, and computer scientists working on research, development, and practical applications of optimisation methods in all engineering disciplines, as well as on the development of basic techniques in this field.
The purpose of this conference series is to provide a platform for scientists and engineers to meet, discuss current research, new concepts, and ideas, and establish opportunities for future collaborations in all aspects of Engineering Optimisation.
By promoting a welcoming atmosphere for discussion and exchange of ideas, we expect that new paths for research will be stimulated and promoted, and new collaborations can be initiated.
We hope that this 7th International Conference on Engineering Optimisation will have a significant impact on research across all topics included in its programme.
We want to express our appreciation to all members of the committees involved in the preparation of this Conference, to all the staff managing the various aspects of the event, and to all the contributing authors and participants who will ensure the Conference's success.
